Bad throttle body?
I was looking at my throttle body today on my 86 Iroc and I noticed that the return spring on the side where the throttle cable hooks up to it looks to be kind of "unwound." The place where the spring is mounted is kinda loose and wiggly as well. Is my throttle body shot? Is that why I've been having trouble with the idle and why when I stop, it'll idle at 1000 until I just tap the gas extremely lightly? I adjusted the tps and the iac is new. Thanks.
Is there any way to fix it or do I need to replace the whole unit? If I do, is a 52mm safe?

Yes it is shot, just go to a junk yard and get a stock style one. when i went i found a 58mm and got it for 40 bucks and made my car run like crap so i went back and got a stock one. stay stock it flows plenty.
