What springs have you guys used? Looking for cheap , maybe stock from another car, springs that will work for my lt1 cam swap. Part #s would be great . I seen someone mentioned a good cheap spring to use but I cannot for the life of me find it again. Thanks guys .

I bought a set of Edelbrock valve springs (EDL-5894) last year for my LT-1 roller cam. Cost me $87.95.. Summit told me that it would be a good item even though the website (summitracing.com) has it listed for flat tappit hydraulic lifters.

So did you use them ? How did they work ? Bit high on the price scale (compared to what I have seen people use) but I will concider them. Anyone second these ?

Of course. They work very well. When I adjusted my valve lash, me and my uncle used a 1/2 inch hose to listen to the "tap". We turned each nut until the tap was gone, spun the push rod with the finger to verify that the lash was gone then we gave the wrench a 3/4 turn. May seem a bit high but I go for name brand parts because they are most likely to back their parts if an issue arises. I know from experience. On Summit tech told me and advised me to a roller cam. I got it, installed it, and it took a dump. I called the tech and he told me to send it back even if it was used. Got a full refund towards a part that had about 5 hours of total idling.
