l98 Cam

i have a l98 out of an 89 iroc it has shorty eldebrock headers full exhaust 1:6 roller rockers underdrive pulleys ac delete throttle body spacer msd 6al ignition box im gonna port and polish the heads and lower intake i need a cam what would be the best cam i dont want over kill im gonna change the springs thanks bill

"best" is a relative term. Depends on what you want. Depends on your long term goals. Depends on if it's a cam for "right now" or if you're going to build on it later. There are tons of cams to choose from, but the cam is only as good as the other parts you match with it. If you tell us what your goal is, not wanting overkill is pretty broad and leaves a lot of room for speculation, the members here can give you feedback as far as their combos go. Not trying to sound down on you, we're trying to help, the more you tell us, the more we can help!

im looking for something probley short term if it needs a tune then thats fine i have a lt1 cam lying around im looking for 300-325hp

crank or rear wheel numbers? The reason you're not getting many replies is because this info has been discussed thousands of times, and can easily be found in searches.
