Re: Vacuum Ports on the throttle body? Help Please

There's only one vacuum port on the throttle body; it's on the bottom. This port is tee'd - one side goes to the vapor canister. The other side goes to the EGR solenoid.

The only other "vacuum" port is the large one on the passenger side for the PCV system.

Bottom port ;pass side, is vac for canister purge.Just seal off.
Top one ;pass side, is supply air to pass side rocker cover for PCV system
Generally if running MAF system need this hooked up properly so airflow though PCV is metered by MAF .Running a open breather on one rocker cover and the PCV valve on other is same as un-metered vac leak

Pollution control
Stops you being a naughty boy and polluting the atmosphere with all the gas fumes from your tank.

I have the fuel line vented out of the car, so I should be ok without the canister right.
