If you could get a donor car would be muh better if not expect to spend about $800 in just parts. I was thinking of doing his swap too but then decided to just stay with tbi and drop a 350. But it's up to you to do the swap if you have the money I say go for it.

I am pretty sure L03s and LB9's have more differences than just the breather setup but who knows. Your also gonna need more than just the tpi setup, There is countless threads on here asking about the swap. If I recall you will need a diff distributor and beefier fuel pump as well.
In the end, I say save the money and just purchase a L98.

You will see some increase, but you won't see factory tpi numbers, like others have said there are more differences than just the tpi.

Re: tbi to tpi
It won't be the same since it's still gonna have the L03 cam and heads which is what don't help much on power although dyno don done his swap and I think he gained around 10 hp and 40 ft torque not sure can't remember, if you search you will find it.

Re: tbi to tpi
The heads are different but some say that both the TBI and the low level TPI (205 hp) use the same cam. The distributor should be the same as I kept my OE dist. when I did my swap. There's a thread on here by someone concerning tuning and using the TBI heads with a TPI and the results which were impressive to say the least.
