Which spark plugs should I get???

Ok so my car is a 92 z28. It has a vortec 350 in it from 96. Has the vortec intake, ported plenum and ported slp runners. I am gonna replace the plugs and wires and wanted to know what would be best for this car performance wise.

Part numbers if you have them please.

i'm running NGK plugs, love them. I'm running Edelbrock aluminum heads, plug is an NGK - BKR8EIX or 2668 depending on where you purchase them.

I find that mixing a bit of snake oil in with my fuel, helps the e3s achieve that "complete burn" too...

Re: Which spark plugs should I get???

I'll just get stock plugs and upgraded wires, should I get the ones that came stock with the 96 vortec or the 92 l98 ones? Is there a difference?

ac delco every time. everything else is hype.

a quality cap and rotor with brass terminals from the auto parts store is perfect.

start with timing set at 6 adjust from there. each motor/conditions are different. your combination may like a littl emore advance. set it, test drive it and see what feels best. if you have a scanner you will be able to SEE the differences.

Re: Which spark plugs should I get???

i think cr43ts plugs work well. good all-around plugs. by the way the "c" stands for commercial grade and are much better than just r43ts plugs. compare them and you will see.

Re: Which spark plugs should I get???

My timing is set at 10 on the distributor but it's at 6 in the ECM... it runs good though but should i re-tune the chip to match it? (86 tpi 165 ecm, cammed, heads+intake ported, bored 0.030, etc)
