The bulkhead connector and instrument panel connector on the 88 harness will need to be repinned, they will not match up with the 92 connectors. Another option would be to repin the existing tbi harness to work with the tpi.
You will also need to get atpi throttle cable and a tpi kickdown cable as the tbi ones are too short.

the bulk head connecter your referring to is the next to the brake booster that needs to be repined?
Also do know were i could get a diagram for it. were are the interment panel conector located on the harness are they both by the brake booster

Yes it is the one next to the brake booster.
The instrument panel harness is the short harness that comes off where the plugs are for the ecm, that is connector c207
I've posted 2 pin diagrams, the 89 c100 and the 92 c100 you will need to rearrange the wires on the 88 harness to match the 92 connector, there are 2 plugs in the c100 conn, you only need to concern yourself with the larger one, no's 4 and up, the smaller is the headlight harness, you don't need to change that as the original stays on the car.
Hope this helps

Re: 305 tbi to 350 tpi help
Yes I did the same swap 15 years ago, I don't even own that car any more, but I used all 89 parts so I would not have to repin anything. I did it because the tbi motor needed a ring job, and buying a rebuilt motor was cheaper and I was able to upgrade, It took me some time to get everything right, but once i did it was a beast.
The little short harness is for the instrument panel, gages and lights ect, it doesn't plug into the ecm, it connects to the main harness under the dashboard.
one more thing, you'll need to upgrade your exhaust, the 2-1/4" pipe is a little too restrictive. I blew the exhaust gaskets right out of it within a week.

Re: 305 tbi to 350 tpi help
In my firebird I used a stock chip from an 89 gta, I dabbled in chip burning a little but only on my 86, I found that car ran alot better using 89 software as well.

the hard lines are okay, but you will need to get the tpi flex lines that go to the fuel rail
Re: 305 tbi to 350 tpi help
Im swapping a 1988 camaro 305tbi to a 1987 formula 350tpi. Bought engine bay harness & pcm for tpi. Bought larger volume fuel pump to support injectors. Will serpentine belt system swap from 88' camaro to the 87'formula motor?
