PCV Hose

The hose running off my PCV to my intake is cracked pretty bad so I pulled it off and went looking for a replacement just to find that it's discontinued and near impossible to find. I rigged up a temporary solution with some hose and 90 degree elbows but I'd really like to find an oem or similar replacement. Does anybody know where I can find one? It's part GM# 14088538 I believe. Any help I can get would be appreciated.

WOW! Sweet. I need one too. ...I've actually rigged up a pretty sharp looking replacement, but nothing beats all the proper bends the way they're SUPPOSED to be.

Re: PCV Hose

I looked into it further and it appears that the website is actually for sale and not functional right now, although it is good for part numbers, decoding rpo sheets, and such.

Hello TheGr8erG00d!!

Bingo!!!

If your part number is good........which it comes up as Hose C/Case Vent VLV then you should be able to go to your GM dealer and get them to order it from VPI......VPI is where all the old parts for everybody goes to, to live out their final days until someone comes a looking for it!!

VPI does exist, and I have personally gotten parts from them via my local GM dealer!!

I can't tell you the price, as I don't see that on the VPI site, but they have qty 9 in stock!!

Don't buy them all, but buy two, a replacement, and a spare!!

Re: PCV Hose

Hello TheGr8erG00d!!

Did you get your part(s)??

VPI has 4 left!!

Out of the 9 that VPI had, I bought three, and if you bought two, that would leave 4 for everybody else!!

If you didn't get one yet, you'd better hurry up, they're going fast!!
