89 IROC problems

I have an 89 IROC with a miss I am unable to diagnose. It has a new cap, rotor, plugs and wires. It isa350 TPI and still has amiss. Could this be an injector or wires? I even put the old cap back on, and still the same problem. HELP PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Double check your firing order and wire placement?

Re: 89 IROC problems

Since you did the cap/rotor/plugs/wires, you should take an ohm meter to the injectors. Any reading under 12 and the injector coil is shot. If all readings come back good when the engine is cold, check the resistance on them all when the engine is hot. The injectors in your car are notorious for shorting and causing missing.

If you find one or more bad, get in contact with Southbay Fuel Injectors. Stellar customer service, and prices and products that cant be beat.

Let us know what you find!
