383 First Fuel Injection TPI Need Computer System

Hey Guys i could use some help I'm in the process of building a 383 motor with the first fuel injection TPI system for the intake. But im not to sure on a good computer system to put on it. I need something completely programmable. and the systems FIRST offers are all $2000+ there has to be cheaper solutions that will work. I appreciate any help on this matter.

0411 PCM with a harness from eficonnection.com. Very capable unit and cheap for the DIY'er. Perfect for a street 383. That's what I'm running on one of my 383 TPI engines. Wouldn't go any other way, except maybe 24x coil on plug next time.

http://www.larryselectricsite.com/st...hp?productid=2 <-- this. You can have a custom prom burned for it. This is definitely the cheapest way to go I think. I've searched all over, I can't find anything that beats this deal.

What is wrong with a stock ECM like a '730 SD setup with a custom harness to run standalone like the First setup would be?
Plenty of us making good power on strokers with reprogrammed stock ECM's
ECM $50+
Harness $300
Tuning hardware $200 ( real time on the fly tuning )
Tuning software free ( $30 donation optional )
