I dont know the Gender of my new motor.
I bought a truck recently (non running). thought it was a late or early 90s tbi motor but im begining to get Its got the tbi intake and throttle body but i tore into it the other day cause i couldnt get it to start. All it would do is pop n throw flame out throttle body. checked timing 5 times. checked all fuses. Same thing everytime. So i tore into it. Bent push rod caused by center intake bolt that was too long and got into push rod. So i replaced it hoping a change... nope same dame thing. went to change spark plugs and they put in 2 LONG shank plugs (dumbass) which got into valves blah blah blah. No harm to valves that i can see so far. Its a roller motor. roller rockers (factory) lifters and cam. its got the dogbones and spider plate. The front surface of heads are mostly smooth but its got 2 vertical lines right under valve covers l l in the casting. Can Anyone help me out? what style 350 and a close year? here is the casting number of block from rear ( 14093638) number from front V0618USA. and number from head (14102188).

Doesn't matter that much what it was out of originally, it's had work done to it.
It's a 1 piece RMS 4" block with swirl-port 350 heads. That's all you can tell from the outside.

that helps a little. thanks. I know oreillys told me it could be a lt1 but all iv found on lt1s is that they have the optic destrib on timing cover. mine is a typical 70s and 80s style block. Iv never seen these style heads befor is y it threw me off a little. They also couldnt tell me nothing on numbers even though iv had them check num. for me in the past. Its not that it really matters exactly what it is, its just knowing helps me sleep at nite. Plus since its a roller motor it makes it the perfect canidate for my next build.

From the looks of it they sure did. I know this isn't the right site nor the right message board for my questions but noone on fullsize could help and I thought it was originally a tpi motor.
