what went wrong

I was running 9.0 in the 8th now I'm running 9.7 all I did was port out the plenton runners intake put new 22 pound injectors in and a egr block off what now thanks

Thinking about putting a fuel pressure regulator on seeing if that might get my time back down

Be better to put a pressure gauge on it and see what your fuel pressure is 1st.
If your fuel pump is bad a AFPR is not going to help much.

It's at 43 psi

the car will run leaner with the egr blocked off, i got a chip burned when i blocked mine off.

Probably just need to go back to the track in cooler weather, with a cooler engine, it is August afterall.

Try raising your fuel pressure. Raise it in 2 lb increments and run the car each time. Play with your timing also. Try it at 6 degrees (STOCK).

Checked my timing on my car today and it was on 12 degrees I put it back on 6 it fills lot better hopefully run a 9.0 again

Well got some drag radicals deleated my smog got a holly fuel regular ill see what that does tomorrow

Ya it don't make any Sents and I put my timing on 4 degrees and it started running 9.0 it dont seem right

You need to look at Density Altitude before making these assumptions. It is very possible there is a gain there that is being masked by very high DA compared to prior track trips.
