im not being a smart a$$.and i thank you for taking the time to post that up for us who are battling this prob.i should have elaborated a lil more ,i guess. i should have mentioned that i have the FSM for my car.i have tested everything and its brother ad nauseum.i find it hard to believe that all 7 MAFs that i have bought for it so far have all been rebuilt in china using rice ***** and dirt dauber nests.and although the MAF is still available from GM ,its price is $1,096.a deal breaker there ,for sure.so far i have been dealing with "vato zone".and that could be the problem ,i dont know.im going to go with the 8th MAF from oreilleys, its a re man unit from BWD. $175. what gets me is this, code 34 is saying MAF signal voltage low.but i have 12v on the red wire and 5v on the green wire and the two grounds are reading very little resistance.so.......it should function as intended, right?? not so, im afraid. im going to park it for a while (which pains me badly)maybe more research is needed.any way when and IF i get this fixed i WILL be posting up what was wrong and how i fixed it.again thank you for taking the time to try and help me

Hey man. Dont worry man. Its all good. Try cleaning out the terminalson the connector. Use a tiny jewelers screwdriver to clean off the inside of the female connector on the harness side. Maby it has a bit of corrosion or oxidation to the point that its not making a good connection. I kept getting a code 33 until I cleaned the connector up. Since then, no more troublecodes.
