may seem like a stupid question, but i thought i heard once before that the stock corvette manifold wont fit on camaro or firebird L98. was looking at getting this to port / polish until i can afford an Edelbrock Hi-flow manifold

Middle intake bolts are 90 deg not 73 but can be made to work.

i'm on the fence if i want to port an L98 manifold or buy an edelbrock intake

 

I would port a stock base or go with a hsr before I would ever buy a edlelpoop !

 

Vette fuel lines come in on the pass side not sure if the Fbodys are different. Youll have to do a whole lot of grinding to get a stock to do what the aftermarkets do out of the box.

 

Your going to have to modify the EGR system if you have emissions inspections in your area. The vette pulled the exhaust through a tube on the passanger exhaust manifold instead of from the crossover in the head like the camaros.

 

Emissions are disabled in his calibration, the vette intake has a second feed through the rh head so it would depend on the heads but it doesn't apply here.

 

i wound up not buying it. i was too conflicted between porting a stock intake out and getting an edelbrock intake....is it worth the money?
