code 12.will not start
driving car bout 15mph then it just shut off as if I turned the key off. no fire from coil. put new one on it still no fire. did the paper clip thing and it just keeps flashing code 12 over and over.

Code 12 is just ECM reporting in. It SHOULD always flash it. Try replacing the ignition module (it's inside the distributor, under the distributor cap).

I know. but it had code 32 stored and its not even showing up. just the 12. new module ddnt work. pick up coil maybe?

you didnt get the ICM from auto zone , did you ? i personally have gotten many ones from them , bad right out of the box. i go to oreilleys and get BWD select parts

put brand new duralast gold dist. in car. fired right up. but now when I put it in gear it dies. that and after bout a minute of warming up it starts messing up then comes out of it. still dies when put in gear though.

Check the initial timing also confirm that fire order correct 18436572 easy to have a plug wire in wrong order and if right one engine will run but will have no power
