Re: MAF ISSUES

If you have replaced everything that's replaceable, what MAF is installed?

What about the MAF power and burnoff relays? Those are critical to the system operation.

How about the auxiliary oil pressure switch? That will interrupt the burnoff cycle, and eventually lead to a 34 as well as causing a 36.

What about the electrical connector at the MAF itself? Is there a solid 12VDc source present? Do both grounds have good continuity?

Are the inlet ducts intact and sealed? What about the throttle body, PVC, CCV supply air, and EVAP lines? Any leakage in any of those can contribute to a 34 code.

Re: MAF ISSUES

Vader,

The MAF Sensor is a rebuilt OEM (P/N 14094712) by Bosch. The NAPA crossover P/N is XT44712. All relays have been check, and also vacuum leaks. Order a throttle body from HAWKs prior to putting new MAF on, as smoke test showed it was leaking. That said, I haven't checked the auxiliary oil pressure switch, but all other items you mentioned have been checked. It runs fine at idle, but once
