Fuel pump options
I need to replace the fuel pump in my 92rs 25th anniversary. The potential exists that I may go tpi, I already have the setup laying around. Should I consider installing a tpi fuel pump now and just regulate it down? What's the simplest regulator to install?

Re: Fuel pump options
You just need a fuel injection pump. Get a Deatschwerks 9-201-1029 for a C4 Vette. This will support up to about 600 HP and is durable, and nearly silent. We use a lot of the DW pumps and have never had a failure.
AEM 50-1000 would also be an excellent choice. Support about 1000 HP for $90.

I'm so sorry, this was meant for the TBI forum, misclick.
I'm working with a 92 305 TBI, I have the tpi set laying around for that, not the 3.1l.

Really doesn't matter - all the universal in-tank FI kits are pretty much the same. You just get a universal in the size you need and make it work. On the older stuff.... pre-96 or so, they all use the hanging steel tube pickup assemblies and it's just a matter of clamping the pump to the tubing and making sure it doesn't rattle around in there.
