Serious Flooding

I have a 72 LT1 Stingray with a 91 Vette speed density TPI setup installed. Has new 24Lb/Hr Ford motorcraft injectors and 58MM throttle body. On initial startup the engine floods severely. After warmup some flooding still takes place from acceleration and during shifts. The person I bought it from says he can only program standard chip profile. Who can I get to program a custom chip at a reasonable cost. I have Datamaster 8D software that I can record a session on and mail to someone for an analysis.

Try Ed Wright at Fastchips.com, seems to have a decent rep with a lot of folks that have done conversions and upgrades.

i'd hook an air fuel gauge up to your O2 sensor, and buy an AFPR for the car, and install it.

You can get it tuned a lot better without a custom chip with an afpr and something to monitor o2 readings.. I'm not gonna say perfect, but you can make a huge difference.

I don't know what an AFPR is or what to do with it. Just got off the phone with Ben Riggs alias TPIMAN1@aol.com. I have my MAP sensor mounted on the fender well. He recommends I move it close enough to the vacuum port on the plenum to use a maximum hose of 1 inch long. He feels that with the long hose I now have installed due to the remote mounting of the MAP is too much lag time in the signaling to the ECM causing an oscillation effect. I'll give it a shot this weekend. Let you all know the results.
