Tranny problems

Hey Guys,

Anyone have any info about this. I had a dead battery yesterday and jumped the car then about five to ten minutes into driving car tranny was taking forever to shift into second and third gear and i had to drive real slow but eventually made it to overdrive gear and cruised for a while like that. When I came to stop and took off same thing happening with shifting. Then I parked car and shut it off for about an hour. Then got back into car and had no tranny problems at all. Is that something with the computer ??

No; 700R4 isn't computer-controlled.

Check basic stuff---TV cable adjustment and trans fluid level.

Re: Tranny problems

Fluid level is good I know there is a electronic type plug on the tranny. I thought that was for the computer ? Lockup stall speed? I thought the TV cable is for TBI's. I don;t have a TBI. Is that correct ?

tv cable is for all engines that used a 700r4. The electrical plug is for torque converter lock up.
