Fuel leak

Hello,
I just picked up an '87 IROC with the 305. I know nothing about TPI system. I do see an obvious fuel leak . Can you tell me what the brass nipple is that I have pictured. It is literally wet with fuel. Should it be connected to something? capped?

Thanks,

John

Re: Fuel leak

Could be schrader valve , crossover o-rings standard motor sk24 or flat washer under the test port it’s not brass.

Re: Fuel leak

Thanks. The fuel is in the center of the schrader valve, so that sounds like the culprit?

The old schrader valve had a broken spring. Replaced with fuel rated version and new cap.

Thanks for your help.
