Put on a new air intake so figured since that was out of the way I would do a tb bypass. Haven't seen any actual numbers on this so figured I would see if it made a difference. After a few roughly 30 minute drives before and after the throttle body was between 20 and 30 degrees cooler, plenum was 15 to 20 degrees cooler and the runners were around 10 degrees cooler. I'm sure that doesn't equate to much but it's a easy mod and makes future removal of the tb much easier. I found the hose at O'Reilly's with the bends that worked out pretty good.

 

Do you happen to remember the part number for the hose?

 

PN - GAT 18569. Got it at O'Reilly's. Not a perfect fit, had to cut it down but looks alright.

I used this Goodyear hose. GDY-63069 It is for a Buick Regal or something but it fits like it was made for it.

 

I ended up not using the bends I thought I was going to but it worked out. Definitely looks better than how I did my last TA.
