need help selecting injector size!!
Hi all i am new to this board so bear with me. Iam having trouble deciding what # injector to go with,I have an 89 formula 350 with ported plenum, siamesed intake, ported slp runners,58mm tb,vortec heads. I am also running a accel dfi system for engine managment so tuning the pulse width wont be a problem. I was thinking about 24 or 30#ers but i am not shure!! anny help would be great!! THANKS
I would say run 24's, the only way you need 30s is if you do alot more work to the motor or is you wanna juice it. I am going to go with ford 24's on my 383, which is like a 27 GM rating that should be good enough to run a 75 shot on my motor

IMO, run the SVO 24#/hr injectors. On the GM system they actually flow 26#/hr. I'm planning on using my 24 SVOs in my upcoming 396 SBC.
Start with 48 to 50psi fuel pressure, set your fuel injector constant to 26 in the DFI, and then work with the DFI fuel map system to get about 880mV at WOT.
I know that 26# fuel injectors in my LS1 are good for 450Hp at the drive wheels. If you run 30#/hr injectors in a 350, I think that your idle will be difficult to get set right because of too short of pulse width required. I have heard that high impedience injectors do not work right under 1.5msec PW.

Dragula, YES, in fact I bought my SVO injectors at Summit Racing.
jd383, I would call someone who sells the Accel DFI stuff, like cruzinperformance.com
