Mini Ram or Super Ram??????

O.K. I have heard so many different things on these two set ups. I have a 91 350 TPI right now. I have a Procharger and AFR 190 heads. Which of the two would suit my car better?? I would think the mini ram but I have not completely decided yet.

Anybody running anything like this????

Well since you have a procharger, it will force air through any set up even the stock tpi set up..... so if i was you, id look for torque and drivability, so id get the miniram if i was you.

Hey John,
Question #1: Does that set up work well with AFR 190 heads or are the Fast Burns best?

Question#2: Is the 400 for the Modified Intake and Rails or does the Intake still need to be provided?
From the way it reads on your site"Modified Intake and Rails"

Question #3: Doo I need the T Stat Housing also?

Thanks

I know im not john...

but untill he shows

The LT1 mates closest to standard small block chevy heads. You can specify the bolt pattern with john from pre 87 to post 87. The LT4 intake is what mounts closest to the fast burns. Fast burns are a great head but you'll run into compatibility problems later. Go LT1 intake and AFR 190's, Im doing something similar.

Hope that holds you over.

Man, these thirdgen.org guys are catching on quick. the above answers are correct.
Here's my answers to all three questions.

1. It will work great with the AFR's and any other standard SBC head. It will not work with the Fastburns or Vortec. Those heads are best adapted to the LT4 intake. I don't mess with LT4's since I don't have those heads to test fit the intake I provide.

2. The $400 is for a modified intake and fuel rails.

3. Yes, you will need a remote t-stat housing. i'm not saying you need the one I have but you still need one none the less.
