I'd like to see actual #'s With smaller runners

Well I have always heard that for a Forced induction motor With TPI.... it's better to have smaller diameter runners then it is to port them/go to larger casting...due to velocity factors..in effect going to a larger runner and baseplate and Ported plenum it's much harder to maintain higer PSI

So can anyone elaborate or have some good links to support this theory

I have heard it time and time again
but I have personally never seen any factual results before
I mean it makes sence that if you had a higher volume to fill that it will be the case

But how will it compare to a higer flowing intake "Hp wise"

get what I'm saying .. sorry if it's confusing
Thanks

I don't have an answer for you, but I do need to get ahold of you. I will be at Famoso around 9am in the morning... Hopefully we can hook up then. I also sent you an e-mail.

Hey Jed.
I dunno. i think your right that the smaller tubes will keep up low speed velocity so the intake charge won't stall out. The advantage would be better low end, and since the boost will overcome high end ineficiencies it isn't as much of a problem.
But i really have no clue, but that sure sounded smart eh? later
