Is a 4 pass 10,000 gvw cooler big enough for my car?

I have one sitting around, and thought I might install it while IM swapping the new tranny in. I think the brand is Flexolite, Just not sure if its big enough to make a difference in the temp. Should I install it?

Thanks,
Mike

If you're installing a higher than stock stall converter then you should have an external cooler.

Without a tranny temp gauge it's hard to say if the cooler is big enough or not. You want to keep the tranny oil in the 175-225F range.

Reference my response to your other post....

As to the size, I always use the 24,000 GVW cooler, unless it won't fit my application...but you should be able to fit it on your car.

Why? Because it is more efficient and provides better cooling.
