Transgo Advantage

What is the Advantage of having a Transgo Shift kit (Noyoyo-syskokal kit SK700-D), Transgo Reprogramming Kit, and a .500 Vette Servo.

I'm trying to determine if I really need all three parts install in my transmission for a performance street car. If so what will I lose by NOT installing the Reprogramming Kit. My Tranny is a 84 27spline. Also would you recommend that I rebuild the tranny before installing these parts. I have a bout 35, 000 mile on the tranny since it was last rebuilt.

I beleive most tranny guys would say skip the .500 boost valve and maybe go with a .471 for your setup.

Either way ttt for ya.

TransGo is the best to go with.

On an '84 the TransGo Shift Kit (NoYoYo) is essential to correct inherent timing problems as well as friction failures in the 700.

The Reprogramming Kit is essentially a TransGo Shift Kit with added HP/HD features BUT it does NOT have the shift timing corrections of the SK, that is why on those years I combine the two. For a good Small Block the .422" is fine with the TransGo, .471 if you REALLY are making some power.
