The stock TH350 shift points are fine why mess with them?
If you must change them an aftermarket modulator has a different vaccum diaphram, firmer diapharm= later shift points softer= sooner.

I have an after market tranny in the car. my car is... or atleast was an 87 iroc but i destroyed my tranny with my crate motor so i opted for a tranmission that is a little stronger. anyway i have the good vaccum modulator that everyone one the board told me to get but how do i adust it so get higher shift points. right now, while i am not on the throttle much my car shifts way too soon so i need to adjust it.

pop the hose off of the modulator...and get a flat screwdriver that will fit in the hole...... turn the screw inward ..i believe to raise the points... its pretty cool...
Rob.... did you get the one with the red band ??? i just parked my car on a curb.. to get under ....

i'm going to back the screw all the way out... then put a little ..valve inline ....then run that into the cockpit.. soo i can adjust that while i'm driving ...copper tube of coarse..
Be carefull messing with the Vaccum to the Modulator. You can smoke the Tranny if things go awry. What are you trying to accomplish?
If you are looking to change the WOT shift points, STOP! You will have to do this via the Governor. Ideally the Modulator should be set so that as you just begin to move the pressure begins to rise. It is not and old radio where you dial in the station you want-there is a correct setting.
