Were all T-5's made by Borg Warner?
i was under my car on sunday, putting on headers, and i noticed on the tranny itself.. it said Borg Warner...
my car is an 86 Z28 with a 305 and a t-5 tranny.
i was just wondering if all T-5's were made by Borg Warner or was it just the "World Class" T-5's?
i dont know what i have because i bought this car from someone and have only recently been upgrading. thanks

Car: 1991 Camaro RS
Engine: L03 305 TBI, nearly stock
Transmission: 700R4, stock
Axle/Gears: 3.23 out of a V6/5 speed car.
Yes, all T-5's are made by Borg Warner. Ford, however, has found all the trannys B/W ever made with bad third gear syncros!
