TH-350 grinding like when someone grinds gears in a manual tranny

THIS SUCKS ..I just got this tranny in the car ..it shifted fine the first few days i had it in i mean tire burnin shifts but then it started to slip alittle going from 1st to 2nd ..... now i cant even feel it shift from first to second and when it goes into third the engine revs then shifts and it hits pretty hard then and i hear this grinding sound like when someone grindes the gears in a manual tranny could tha be the convertor? (convertor has a stall of 2000)... i called some people and one guy said it sounds like the governor sticking the other guy said that it souds like a loss of pressure to the valve body ..anyone that could help i would GREATLY apreciate it!

Sounds like it needs to be rebuilt again Can you drive the car in Drive, or do you have to start out in D1 and shift manually?

It's a broken intermediate roller clutch race, and yes this means enough garbage has probably circulated through the trans and converter that it should all get rebuilt again, the converter should be CUT OPEN not just flushed.
