First thing is to check the condition of your fluid? Does it look burnt? Smell burnt? If it does do a complete change asap, add a transmission cooler, and when climbing a hill always run in a lower gear, do not allow the transmission to repeatedly shift up & down, as this can or will ruin the transmission. I hope this helps?

thanks
the fluid is ok and while i was climbing the hill i held the box in third i was wondering if maybe low fluid level may have contributed. as it has a leak that is coming from the torque converter guard. i was told it was the pump and would cost mega bucks to fix.
