C-clip or floating axle?
Hey all, I was wondering how one could tell if they have the floating axle or the c-clip. I know that the axle is bent on the drivers side. I can get another axle, but I need to know which one it is. I don't want to take the rear disc's off as they will have to be changed once I get the axle out ( they are pretty much fused onto the hub) I just don't want to take them off just to check. I looked at the back of the backing plate and I can see 4 bolts, but I was thinking that they might be just for the plate to mount on.If you need any more info on my car, it's in my sig. Is there any other way to check?
Thanks in advance....

9 bolts do not have c-clips. They are held in by axle retenion flanges located behind the rotor. You don't even have to pull the rear cover to swap axles on a 9 bolt.
