i have a 1992 z28 with a 700r4 auto tranny. my speedo hasd been acting kinda funny for a couple of weeks...it wont work sometimes and then it wont go over 60 when i am on the highway. so i replaced the VSS sensor on the transmission cuz that is what guys on this board told me to do. i did it and drove on the highway for 15 min to make sure the comp knew there was anew sensor there....nothing....i need help!!!!! the mile counter is not on wither...the total miles and the trip odometer...

i don't know what to tell you... except that if your speedo is not working... then your trip odometer and the total odometer won't work... you try checking the wiring from the VSS and everything like that?

 

the wires right off the sensor look fine but they dissapear up next to the tranny after like 6 inches and i cant see them
