I have a 91 bird with a hyraulic clutch setup and Im having clutch slippage. I was thinking instead of buying centerforce and spending a bunch of cash I could use a hays borg and beck style pressure plate and clutch I have out of my 69 camaro before I went to an 11 inch setup. I guess the question I have is has anyone used one of these style of pressure plates in a third gen with a hydraulic slave cylinder. The reason I ask is because if you have ever pushed down a borg and beck clutch compared to a diaphram pressure plate you would notice that the borg and beck is way harder to push down. Do you think that this stiffer pressure plate would blow a hydraulic line or slave cylinder?
