Adjusting the clutch pedal

Anyone know how to adjust the clutch pedal on a 91 camaro RS? Currently the clutch engages at the very top of release on the pedal and I have no play on the clutch, just raised the car and dont see an adjustment bolt on it, anyone know where to do it?

Right, they're self-adjusting.

Sounds to me like your car needs a clutch, bad.

What kind of clutch? Has this one always been like this? Was the previous clutch different about it?

Not sure the type, I just bought the car and can verify it is a new clutch, however I do think the hydraulics are the problem, is there any way to bleed the fluid and replace or would I need to replace the hydraulics, if so, please direct me where to go or perhaps what to ask for at any parts shop, thanks much.

Can't possibly be the hydraulics. If it was, their defect would be that they are doing their job so well, that the clutch fully engages as normal, but it only takes one inch of pedal travel to disengage it. If there was something wrong with the hydraulic system you'd have the opposite problem: where the clutch barely disengages, if at all, when the pedal is pushed to the floor.

Sounds to me like somebody put in a cheeeep low-bid clutch just to sell the car.

You could shim the slave cylinder from the bellhousing mounting point. There are tricks to make the hydraulic clutch release points different. But... yeah.
