t56 2pc seal flywheel # ?

well, I went to the machine shop (really one I was told was good(sure ) any way I tried to tell the what I needed and the kid just looked confused. so I dummied it up for him and said I was just putting a older 2pc 350 in a 96 camaro lt1 with a 6-speed. holly cow I told him lt1 now he keeps looking for this setup but, does not listen when I tell him it does not need to say lt1. I mean what the #^%^! well then I say to him can you drill the stock flywheel for the old bolt pattern. and I ask him if it will be too weak. he starts telling me it will be weaker ( I thought that hence the question. will it be too weak) I don't think I will ever go back there again I will just go to the machine shop I usually go to he may take a long time but, he really knows his stuff and I know he can find the flywheel part number

Visit www.centerforce.com and get the part #, it's so easy even I can find it, then check Summit, Jeg's and your local speed shop.

I guess I am slow, I don't see which one I need. the book he had showed what I thought might be the right one but I don't see it here. his book said something like (93-97 camaro w/6spd 2pc seal) he would not let me get a good look though.

this is the center force list.

go back to the machine shop. avoid the kid, and find the old guy that actually does the work.

every good machinest ive ever seen/heard of is atleast 35.... i think thats because it takes about 15 years to just get good.

That's list price, you can probably get it for less at Summit or Jeg's or your local shop or Thunder Racing. Nobody sells stuff at list.

I stopped by my normal machine shop and like I thought they did not want to do the whole bolt pattern thing. they said it "could" hold but, those cast flywheels have a habbit of blowing up when beat on too much. they went on further saying that for the money it is a real good Idea to just buy the steel one. you know the funny thing is they are a smaller shop and in a real small town but, he knew right away what I was asking and knew just how the clutch works. If I did not know any better I would have thought he just was looking at one before I came in. he is going to see if he can get me a better price than summit or jegs can.

Thunderracing is the place.. Best deal I found when I did my swap. McLeod makes a 35lbs steel wheel.
