Im thinking of going with the Eaton Posi unit and upgrading to 28 spline axles what would you perfer an eaton or zexel torsen HD unit.

My stats.
350 with 420 HP and 440ftlb. will the eaton hold up or how about a zexel OEM take off from a newer camaro or a HD zexel or shoud i go with the eaton that i can get brand new for $340.

I have been using a eaton posi for many years and have very good luck with it. Its also rebuildable and tunable when it does get worn after some abuse. Check out this websight for goodies for the eaton. (www.Tomsdifferentials.com) He did my diff years ago and have zero failures outside of normal wear and abuse.
They are opening another shop back east soon. I'm in So-Cal.

Eaton is probably one of the best out there. I would definitely go with the eaton.

Definitely the Eaton unit, I've heard nothing but good things about them.

One more vote for the Eaton. Excellant torque Bias and reliable as dirt.

Torsen great for corners...while they last....problem is they won't with big HP. Carrier just too small for the gear loadings.

Auburn a POS..at least for us Autocross\ Road Race types.
