t5 VSS Plug ?
I picked up a supossed 91 TA t5. All of the casting # Point to 91, however, the VSS has a plug that is not like my auto VSS plug from 90 and the harness in the car is from a 92 t-5 and it has the same plug as my auto VSS.
I guess my question is does anyone have a vss in a t-5 that looks like the top one in the pic below? (this is the one out of the t5 I got) It does produce an ac voltage when I spin it so it seems to be working.
The bottom pic is a picture of the socket I was expecting (yes I realize it is one from auto, just using as plug in reference)
If all I have to do is change the plug end on the harness I will do that, however, I don't want to cut it up and find out that I really should have left it alone and purchsed a new VSS.
Anyone out there have some feed back?
Thanks

That one is for '86-'89 the '90-'92 is different (looks like that auto one you show) yours should be 4000 pulses that one is 2000. Get the right one for your car.

I thought that the camaro optical VSS that were on the back of the speedo's were the 2000 ppm, where the magnetic ones on fbirds on the trany were 4000 ppm? or am I mistaken
