Questions on SLP Take off posi unit

I just got mine in the mail and it didn't come with the little piece pictured on their website:

http://www.slponline.com/view_produc...TNUMBER=64501T

Was this part of it, or does my differential already have this peice? If no, im calling SLP and tearing some heads off because they took forever on the shipping and i'll be darned :P if I didn't get the whole package.

The ones I've seen come with the piece(s) installed. The flat bar dohicky slides into the side opening through the center. It is R&R'd to get the C-clips on/off of the axles.

The rod is really a retaining pin that has a hex head with about an inch of threads. It holds the flat bar dohicky in place. Look for that from the pass side of carrier.

RBob.

Also it might not look just like the picture. When I got mine the paddle block looked like the one on the HD unit. I called because I thought it was a mistake. They told me they lost a whole bunch of the blocks and had to have replacements made and they look a little different.

You need the paddle for sure.

If you go with 4.11 or 4.10 gears, you can tap it past the ring gear without much trouble. You do not need their special 2 piece paddle.

When you say it took forever to ship, how long is that? The reaeon I ask is because Im planning on ordering that same carrier from them this week and would like to be prepared for a long wait. They told me on the phone it would take 7-10 days.

It took them about 3 weeks to get me mine. They too told me 7 to 10 days. They were wrong.

Yea, took about four weeks for me, but my car is on jack stands, so no rush really. I also got the 7-10 day nonsense.
