massive wheel hop. whats broke?
ok at the track last night, after shortly installing my energy suspension tranny mount, on my first run, i got massive horrible wheel hop off the line, nothing like this ever happened before, so i ran a second time and same thing happened. i beleive something is broke. what could it be? a torque arm?

dunno if my post made sense, but what i am thinking now is.. since i never got hweelhop before, and now i replaced my tranny mount with a high performance energy suspension mount, and then after that install ig et wheel hop. the tranny mount had something to do with it?
did u use the metal plate that comes with it? if so take it out, casues vibrations and possibly other things.
wheel hop at the track happens when u get good traction and either the shocks or the lower control arms cant handle it.
i would say take a look at ur lower control arms, mine were bent alittle/ you cou tell they were flexing alot.
i would invest in some lower control arms wiht polybushings and see what happens.
also make sure you have the proper tire pressure and that its equal on both sides.
most liekly something isnt broke, jsut bent or wore out in the back.

I know this is a little off topic, but i took my car to have the front end aligned and they said that the rearend was not in straight. Could the LCA's have anything to do with this, if they were to be bent? Also, what else could possibly cause this if bent LCA's is not the problem? Thanks for the help

the instructions strongly urge leaving the plate on, even though i do think i tmakes the tranny sit higher up, cuz the driveshaft seems to not fit in as far as it did before (can see the oil line where it used to line up)
im not sure what the control arms are? where are they located in the rear? and which way do they go?
also if i launch on the street, it seems to be fine, its just at the track, its HORRIBLE.

White91GTA the panhard bar could be bent some and cause the side to side straightness to be off.

Here is a pic of my bent pan hard bar before I welded the pipe inside of it.. next pic will be my wide LCA.
Someone must have used the LCA to jack up the car, the LCA widened out and bent the pan hard bar.
Somehow everything drive and handles fine.
Even better after I boxed everything off.
