t56 problems

t56 problems
OK, everyhting went in GREAT except 1 thing, the damn mastercylinder, i figured out how to bolt it to the firewall, teh prob im haveing is attachin the mastercylinder to the pedal...how did everyone else do it??? please help my car is stuck at the shop :-(

there wasn't any bushing on the m/c rod, just a hole but there was some sleeve on teh pedal?? at least it looks like it,

Its a grayish black bushing on the master cylinder, I took a dremel and took it off and then just used a brake pedal clip to hold it on the pedal. Can get the brake pedal clip for like 2 bucks at the dealer.

alright im gonan try the break clip thing i just have to take it all back out again, ohwell, but anymore ideas would be appreciated

the master should slip onto the clutch pedal with the pedals installed. If you loosen the 4 nuts and angle the pedals slightly, does that let you slip it onto the pedal?

ill try that also it was realy tight trin to slide it on, the thing that really sucks is you have absoultly NO room under those dashes, but ill try both ways

Recline the seat all the way and lay on it with your feet towards the headrest. Put the wheel all the way up, or remove it. That's the best way to get under the dash.

thanks alot guys, i took a flat head screw driver to the m/c and popped the plastic bushing off the rod, slid right on then i had teh clip from the dealer and it all popped right on, man its alot cooler witha 6 spd, now just have to replace the oil pan seal. haha, when i was replacin the rear main i saw it was in really bad shape and now it leaks like a mother f@*$^!, but hey i got a 6spd.
