That looks like the P/N for the 2 3/4 dia 1Le Aluminum Dr Shaft. And Yes, it will fit.

ran that number through gmpartsdirect.com and it said it was a lightweight aluminum ds for 1993-1997 firebirds/camaros with the M6 transmission.

still will work right?

Yes again, it was the upgraded dr shaft for the 1LE 3rd Gen cars and was used on 4th Gen Cars also, until Gm changed over to 3" dia. one in 1998. I am using this shaft on my own car.

If I remember gmpartsdirect was $249 for a new one. And on E-bay they go from $100 to $175. I lucked out and bought mine for $110 because the seller did not what he had and listed it wrong.

I think the 4'th gen's 93-97 had a different aluminum driveshaft then the one that came on thirdgens.

Same 1LE Dr Shafts used ( I think is not a correct answer) on 4th gen cars until changed to the 3"dia one on the LS1 cars. Gm did not waste money retooling dr shafts very often, only when neccessary.
