i have a borg warner 9 bolt and i was wondering if there were any changes in how many splines there were on the axles. I ask this because i have a bent passenger side axle but we got the rear end from a junk yard and dont know specifically what it came from. I need to know the spline count so i can start shopping for a new one while i wait to actually pull the axle. Any help is appreciated.

All BW 9-Bolts had 28 spline axle shafts.

 

All the same splines....

However, the left and right axles are different lengths.
