9 bolt problem

This is what used to be attached to my ring and pinion gears. So, now since it is almost impossible to find 3.45 gears, what should I shoot for? 3.27, 3.70, 3.73. Thanks,
FBird

I would use the 3.70 gears since you have some decent mods and a t-5. the 3.27 gears are pretty easy to find though. I even have a set I don't think I will use. (I have 3.45 in the car and I will be setting up my spare rear with a set of 3.70 gears- Just need the time. once I get the garage cleaned out first) but, in answer to your question If you don't buy 3.45 gears (still can get used at diffsolutions) I would chose the 3.70 gears

The 3.70's are great gears if you plan on a possible 6-speed swap in the future, or a different intake like the StealthRam, but if you're going to keep the T-5 and long runners I wouldn't go that deep. They'll really be too much for the limited RPM range of a TPI setup.

Well, I definately plan on some mods, but all in time. I was planning on injectors and chip burning stuff first. I do plan to upgrade my intake, but later on. So, I might see if I can find some 3.70. I know 9bolt.com has some used 3.45, but I don't want to pay that much for chipped or grinded gears. That is all they have right now.
Thanks

well, he pretty much said he was goin 3.27 or 3.73 and I feel the the 3.27 where too tall when I had my t-5. I liked the 3.45 and 3.70 ratios better. I kept the 3.45 back then because they gave better hwy usage but, kept a good pull through the gears

I don't think I'll be able to get another set of 3.45s. If I could, I would. The other two are the only sets I can get my hands on.

I've got 3:42's that I'm not going to use. There for the 9 bolt.

oh. I could keep an eye out for some 3.45 gears but, I doubt I will find them cheaper than 9bolt.com

I have a 3.27 disc brake 9 bolt that I need to sell if you are interested. With a T5 this should be fine.

I would serously consider 3:91:1 ratio. Great for the strip and street. They really wake up a modded engine
