where are you located at?

i got a really nice tranny from a guy east of Atlanta for $625 w/ core. it's beefed up with a transgo shift kit and hardned shell and rebestos bands, etc. it's really nice and works really well. he has a i year warranty and it supposedly will handle 400hp without issues, ant he'll stand behind that! he sells them on ebay under Atlantatransman or something like that. i'll get you a link to his ebay store.

his prices are a lot cheaper than pro-builts prices...

so the tranny he did for you is doing just fine?...how many miles are on yours now?

i just want a good daily driver tranny, nothin that will shift really hard...i'm not taking it to a track, i'm taking it to the grocery store, kids to school...etc...

thanks

Since you are not looking for hard shifts or hi hp durability, why not seek out a local trans shop with a good reputation? If you have a small problem with a mail order trans, it is a major issue to remove and pay to ship it back and then return ship. Where are you located? Maybe someone in your area can chime in with a shop recommendation.

I have the level 1 from BTO, shifts are pretty crisp for a slightly better than stock rebuilt tranny

it shifts firm but not hard. its in my daily driver with a goodwrench 350. definately recommmended. if you are not going to put any serious hp i would recommend the level 1. the tvmadezee cable system makes adjusting it simple.
