master cylinder mount.
i read somewhere on here that the 83 f bodys had a stamp or something on the firewall for where the clutch master cylinder mounts. i have everything off the firewall onmy 83 but i can not see it. is it on the inside or the outside. if it is on the inside i havent gottin the dash out to clean up behind there yet. anyhelp would be greatfull
I know that the 92 Firebirds have a bracket attached to one of the master cylinder mounting bolts. Its a special shape, so it puts the clutch master up in an easy to reach area. Im not sure about an 83 year though. I would imagine they would be the same. Are you sure you dont mean the slave cylinder?

It's possible. You might find them on an 1984-up automatic car, but I don't know about 82-83 cars. A whole lot of things changed on the firewall between 83 and 84.
