Heavier duty Driveshaft..

Are there any places that make these with standard dimensions? Everywhere I've contacted I have to give them my own measurements, which i think is a pain. I did put a new trans in and a new rearend but the lengths in between are unchanged. I'm simply looking for a heavy-duty driveshaft to replace the existing stock one.

then get one the same length as what you have. how much of a pain can it be to pull a tape on it?

they were telling me i can only give them all the demensions they wanted with the driveshaft pulled on the car. So i was figuring if there were a place that just sold standard sized, and by size i mean measurements, driveshafts just made out of something heavier than the stock driveshaft.

Both sell off-the-shelf driveshafts tougher and balanced better than factory without need for measurements.

You're right! They used to sell a steel DS, guess they've stopped carrying it.

Crawl under the car and see which yoke you have.

I'm pretty sure the guys at Spohn.net know what their parts are made of...and I'm really sure I'd trust what they told me before a bunch of anonymous know-nothing Internet board people.

Short version: fix whatever's keeping you from contacting Spohn and give him a shout.
