i am having trouble geting off the line i think it is due to my 2500 stall converter on my th350 and my stock 2:73 dose any one know what i need. i have a 350 whith cam, heads, 144 blower, compleat msd, timing gears,650 edl carb, and compleat exhaust

 

I'll bet that thing is a monster from a roller though LOL!!

I'd step into some 3.73 out back for a good general purpose gear, will help you out of the hole and not over rev you going down the interstate.


FWIW, buddies 70 chevelle with his 468BBC blew out his 4.11 gears after 35 years of racing on it, so he found a stock 2.73 geared rear end to stick in to finish points. Only lost .4 in the 1/4 and actually stayed the smae mph....would've liked to have seen a tranney gauge on that thing....can you say HOT!!!!!

 

oh yha she will def get up and go at above about 3000. sence i have 2:73 gears i dont know anything about gears realy but i do all my own work so do i just need to replace the 2 with a 3 our is it more complicated than that? thanks for your input
