Transmission: T56 6 speed
Axle/Gears: 3.27 borg warner 9 bolt
t56 swap ?

does anyone what this is used for Dakota Digital SGI-5:

Transmission: T-56 waiting to go in!
Axle/Gears: 3.73:1
im pretty sure its used to convert the t56's electric VSS signal to a mechanical one for mechanical driven speedometers.

do you only need it if you have a gear driven speedo? if i converted to a electric speedo would i need the system

nope, if you convert to electric speedo you shouldnt need it.

No, you are thinking of the Abbott cable X box. The Dakota box is an interface of electronic signals for conversion purposes on your VSS

so the dakota must be the one that has the dip switches you can change to recalibrate when you switch rear end gears right?
