Axle/Gears: 10 bolt 3.42 open
I just picked up a WC that was rebuilt
and the case doesnt have the ID tags anymore
Looks like they used a different case.
It does have the torx bolt that people have mentioned.
I was surprised to see how small and light it is.
As soon as I saw it I wanted it.

I have the stock shifter except for the ball on top
and I need the 4 bolts that hold the shifter down
anybody know what size bolts those are?

I wonder if the aftermarket shifters come with bolts.
I heard the stock shifter isnt good anyway

I checked the Camaro Parts CD and was surprised to discover that while it showed the tranny and its parts to include the shifter, it didn't show the bolts. Perhaps a dealership can provide the p/n. By the way, my B&M short throw did come with bolts. You'll never know how sloppy the stock shifter is until you go after market. Highly recommended.

I also had a tranny shop tell me that the NWC T5 was stronger. Gear Box or Remax not sure which it was.
