Car: 1989 Camaro
Engine: v6
Transmission: 5 speed
i have a ? t5 to 4 speed possible?
I have a 1989 Camaro with a t5 tranny and v6 engine. the engine will get pulled for a big block chevy and i was wondering if it is possible to get a 4 speed to fit in the car without total chaos.any help would be great. thanx

I dont know what the factory trans was back then, but if I were going to 4 speed a car that made any kind or real power, I'd use an M21 or preferably an M22 Muncie.

The factory used the Saginaw (crap) and the Super T10 (good). The Super T10 is harder to find than the Saginaw, as it was only in about 1/4 of the 4-spd V8 cars. I have one though. They can be found.
